My son Christopher got in a car accident last evening. He had been at a restaurant with some friends, took their dares to try some exotic drinks, got a tad piss-faced, and backed into a state trooper who just happened to be patrolling the parking lot. Needless to say he wound up in a holding cell for a bit.
This happened shortly before last night’s scheduled BlogTalkRadio show and should have resulted in my canceling it, especially after I had to do the dad bit and chastise him. But noooo! I went on anyway with no heart for it and ended the debacle within ten minutes. It’s rescheduled for 1 PM eastern US today.
My son is fine, by the way. And home.
